Amy seeks to combine personal practice and exhibition development with participatory activity within the community. She works within arts education, delivering high quality educational experiences to all ages with a focus on creative problem solving. Amy also undertakes freelance projects for arts events and educational purposes, based upon sensory responses to ‘our’ surroundings. Most recently she has broadened her artistic practice to include responsive documentary photography, site specific installation and public mural showcases.
Her personal practice explores the relationship between text, graphical layout and emotional response, documenting the effects of the markings of ‘time’ and ‘experience’ on our roles within society. As a passionate ‘colourist’, her vibrant and highly textural approach to mixed media has become her signature style.
She is available to undertake curatorial projects within community settings, workshops, residencies and art writing briefs.
A message from Amy:
If you have an idea or an established project, I could be the creative mind to initiate, plan, fund, deliver and manage something energetic for your audience. I would be interested to exhibit as well as curate.
If you are a fellow creative and feel you might like to be involved in collaborations please do share your ideas, thoughts and suggestions.
Perhaps you are a student/artist looking to develop your portfolio, or develop an additional project alongside your studies.
Why don’t you get in touch and we can chat further…
